Who you are 👀

You are a senior, hands-on technical leader who owns complex systems end to end. You are comfortable making architectural decisions, writing production backend code, and integrating deeply with blockchain infrastructure. You care about delivery quality, security, and clarity of execution.

You are preferably based in Canada, or located in a time zone aligned with Vancouver, Canada (Pacific Standard Time). All applicants must be legally eligible to work in their country of residence.

What you will own

• Technical ownership of Phase 1 delivery outcomes, including scope integrity and production readiness
• Overall system architecture and backend technical direction
• Core domain model and milestone state machine
• Hands-on experience shipping production systems using XRPL escrows and settlement flows
• Security foundations including auth, permissions, and data integrity
• Technical decision making across the backend and blockchain layers
• Delivery quality, scalability, and long-term maintainability
  
  

Have-to-have

• Proven production experience with XRPL, including escrow and transaction flows
• Strong backend engineering experience with modern server frameworks
• Solid Web3 fundamentals and blockchain integration patterns
• Experience designing and owning distributed system architecture
• Strong understanding of security best practices
• Ability to lead technically while remaining hands-on
• Experience working with React and Next.js based frontends from a backend integration perspective
