Who You Are 👀

You’re a backend engineer with at least 5 years of experience in Node.js, Python, or Go, and have hands-on experience with blockchain and Web3 technologies. You’re detail-oriented, highly motivated, and ready to dive into an exciting work environment. You’re experienced with managing the complete life cycle of back-end projects and comfortable working with complex systems.

*This role is fully remote but only candidates located within +2 or -2 South African Time or Central European time zones.

What You'll Be Doing 🛠️

• Developing and maintaining APIs and services to support blockchain applications.
• Building integrations with blockchain protocols and Web3 tools.
• Managing and optimizing server-side code and databases.
• Ensuring security and data integrity for applications.
• Collaborating effectively with front-end developers and other team members to deliver seamless experiences.

Skills ✨

Must have:

• Minimum of 5 years of backend development experience.
• Hands-on experience with blockchain and Web3 technologies.
• Proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Go.
• Solid understanding of API design and RESTful principles.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, CI/CD, and version control workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Nice to have:

• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud providers such as AWS or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of smart contracts and blockchain protocols (e.g., Ethereum, Polygon).
• Experience with decentralized storage solutions like IPFS or Filecoin.
• Experience wirth Solana
